The Systemwide Training and Education Workgroup (STEW) is a UC wide workgroup made up of UC Campus and National Lab employees with responsibility for Environmental, Safety, and Risk training.
Identify resources, establish cost effective methods, explore and incorporate technical advancements and develop internal and external partnerships to improve performance and value in EH&S education and training programs.
- Facilitate knowledge of basic training requirements. Update annually and identify training needs to increase effectiveness.
- Explore advanced training technologies to determine its applicability to UC EH&S and Risk training.
- Develop and provide training resources to enhance and simplify training.
